My Seaschell Forum Style Tag Tutorial

what you will need

a tube

i am using Seaschell Coral by

Paint shop pro (i am using 17 but any version will work)

font of choice



filters


Muras meister- copies & perspective tiling


eye candy 4000 -gradient glow for copyrights & name (optional)


photo effex - scanlines (or you can use texture effect blinds)



Lets start!


open a new transparent image 600 x 250


take your eye dropper tool and pick out colors from your tube light for foreground and darker for background


flood fill with either color your choice


photo effex scanlines top 2 set to 2 the rest default


c&p your tube resize to your liking place on left side of tag, sharpen add DS (2 -2 68 7) that is what i used but you can use what you like


muras meisters copies and take the number of copies down to 5


blend mode soft light opacity to 50 add DS if you wish


get your rectangle tool and set it to square background null foreground with the light color you chose

draw out a tiny square convert to raster , muras meister perspective tiling default, blend mode soft light reduce properties to about 50-60 add DS


using the rectangle tool switch over to rectange and draw a thin rectangle across the tag the width of

your tag width 2 i placed mine towards the bottom (see mine for placement) when happy with it convert to raster layer


select all float defloat c&p tube but mirror it , selections invert hit delete on keyboard select none,

blend mode soft light, take properties between 40-50 add DS


c&p your tube resize to fit and place it in center, sharpen add DS,

get out your text tool, find a font you like (i used summertime at Dafont.com) and type out Summer

Dreams or something you like and place on the right side of rectangle, when happy with it, convert to raster layer, add inner bevel and DS


new raster layer select all flood fill with light color, selections modify contract by 2 hit delete on keyboard select none add noise random 50% monochrome checked


add your copyright info, license # and your own taggers watermark. merge all flatten save as jpg, for my name i used the font Swan Song but you can use any font you want



thats it! you are done, i hope you had fun and it was easy to follow. you can send me your results and i will post them here. thanks for trying my tutorial!

eye candy 4000-gradient glow

font-October twilight (Dafont.com)



Lets play!




open a new transparent image 600 x 250


c&p paper 3 as a new layer make sure the only thing showing is sand , water and sky


c&p your tube, i resized mine 70% 3 x and placed on right side of tag (sharpen & add DS)
i used H 2 V -2 Opacity 68 and blur 7


c&p ele 108 resize by 70% 3 x and place behind tube to the left sharpen add DS


c&p ele 16 resize by 70% 3 x and place behind tube and kind of move to the left a bit, sharpen


c&p ele 9 resize by 70% 3 x and place behind tube on right side sharpen add DS


c&p ele 3 resize by 70% 3 x and place behind tube off to the left beside palm tree sharpen


c&p ele 4 resize by 70% 4 x and place by grass & sand sharpen


c&p ele 7 resize by 70% 2 x and place behind sandcastle then rotate tree 20 degrees to the right sharpen add DS


go to top layer


c&p ele 95 resize by 70% 6 x and place in front of sandcastle sharpen add DS


c&p ele 17 resize by 70% 4 x and place on other side of sandcastle, sharpen add DS


c&p ele 56 resize by 40% 2 x then 1 x by 70% sharpen add DS place beside tube


c&p ele 87 resize by 50% 2 x then 1 x by 70% sharpen add DS place in front of stones


click on your palm tree on the left hand side c&p ele 104 resize by 70% 2 x and place in between palm tree and sandcastle sharpen add DS


top layer new raster layer select all and pick a color from tag that will make a good frame, select all flood fill with that color, selections contract by 2 hit delete on keyboard, selections invert, add inner bevel (your choice)


select none add a thin gradient glow with the same color as your frame, layers duplicate, go to original frame adjust blur gaussian blur at 8 or whatever looks good to you


go to copy of frame adjust add noise 50% uniform, monochrome checked then add noise only check random merge down


i went to the background layer and added some sparkle to it, i used the sparkle 3 ele


i also while on background i c&p my tube and used the blend luminance legacy and brought the properties down to about 31-35 (optional though)



go to top layer, add your copyrights, license info, designer credit & your own taggers watermark. merge all flatten save as jpg


i used a fat white gradient glow on the copyrights also but lowered the opacity of it to 70 then also used a color in it

you can do a search for this but i think i got it at Dafont.com



ok lets play!



open a new transparent image 700 x 700



c&p ele 106 onto your canvas reszie by 80% place in center sharpen



get out your magic wand and click inside the frame selections modify expand by 2 c&p paper 15 i
resized it by 70% 2 x selections invert delete on your keyboard select none now drag the paper below

your frame go to top layer



c&p ele 105 resize by 70% 2 x and place on bottom left corner of frame sharpen add DS (2 -2 68 7)



go to frame layer c&p ele 59 resize by 70% 2 x and place up towards the top sharpen



go to top layer c&p ele 110 resize by 70% 2 x and place on right side of frame rotate ele 20 degrees to the right using image rotate



c&p ele 108 resize by 70% 2 x and place towards the top of frame sharpen add DS



c&p ele 109 resize by 70% 4 x and place on bottom left corner of book sharpen add DS



c&p ele 118 resize by 70% 3 x and place inbetween book and oars sharpen add DS



c&p ele 73 resize by 70% 4 x and place on top right corner of frame sharpen add DS



now you can crop your tag if you would like, merge visible, resize to whatever size you want , add your copyrights, designer info, license info ,your own taggers watermark




i used a thin white gradient on my copyrights & license info. add your name merge visible save as png
