Spring Meadow Kitten FS Tag Tutorial




Spring Meadow Kitten Forum Style Tag Tutorial

what you will need
a Spring Scrapkit

I am using Spring Meadow by
Jenn's Designs

You can purchase this kit at

a tube

i am using psp_Sweet Kitty which is a free tube

you might need to open an account if you dont already have one




filters

eye candy 4000- gradient glow

penta.com- color dot



ok lets start


open a new transparent image 600x250



select all c&p paper 9 as new layer select none



c&p ele 26 layers duplicate image mirror merge down, sharpen add DS (i used V2 H-2 Opacity 68 Blur 7 color black)



c&p ele 40 resize by 70% 1 x and place on left side of tag, sharpen add same DS



go to your background layer in your palette, c&p ele 31 and place on left side lower the opacity of that layer to about 71 or so



c&p ele 2 place on left behind the rock element



c&p ele 5 resize by 70% a couple of times until you get it the size you want, place behind rock element, sharpen add DS



go to your cloud layer c&p element 19 and place next to cloud, sharpen



staying on same layer c&p ele 21 resize by 70% 1 x and place on right side of tag




go to top layer, c&p ele 18 resize by 70% 2 x and place kind of beside rock towards the right, sharpen



still on top layer c&p ele 53 resize by 70% 1 x and place on upper left hand side on top of cloud, sharpen add DS



c&p ele 22 resize by 70% 1 x and place behind rock sharpen add DS



c&p ele 57 resize by 70% 3 x and place behind fence on left hand side sharpen add DS



top layer, c&p ele 61 resize by 70% 3 x and place by rock on right side sharpen add DS



c&p ele 67 resize by 70% 1 x and place on right side kind of up towards the rainbow and tree sharpen add DS



c&p your tube resize by 50% then 70% place on right hand side, sharpen add DS ( i used the layer with the green eyes but also comes with blue eyes)



make sure you're on the top layer, new raster layer select all, pick a color from your tag that goes well with the tag, i used a darker green



flood fill your layer with that color selections contract by 2  ,hit delete on keyboard, inner bevel (your choice) select none



add a thin gradient glow to your frame using the same color as your frame, layers duplicate, working on original frame adjust blur gaussian blur at 8



go to copy of frame, penta.com color dot default settings sharpen merge down



add your copyrights, license info credit to the kit designer, and your own taggers watermark. merge all flatten save as jpg (i also used a gradient glow to my credits)

Wired Spiderweb Timeline Tutorial




wired spiderweb timeline tutorial



what you need

paint shop pro ( i am using vs 17 but any version will work)


a tube with a close up
i am using Clare Lune by

filters

tramages- wiremesh

dsb flux- spiderweb

eye candy 4000- gradient glow



some sparkle- i used some sparkle from a kit i bought from Rabid Designz called Midnight Blues

font- any script will do. you can find free ones at Dafont.com



ok lets start


Open a new transparent image 851 x 315


using your eye dropper tool, take a light and dark colors from your tube, make a gradient out of those colors foreground background gradient  angle 25 repeats 2 invert checked


flood fill with your new gradient


tramages wire mesh at default


dsb flux spiderweb - just play around with the settings until you find a setting you like  ( i used rays 18,rings 21 and merge 61) but you can set it whatever looks good to you


c&p your regular tube resize to fit, sharpen add DS  V 0 H 14 Opacity 70 and blur 12



go to your background and make active in your layer palette c&p your close up and lower properties of this layer to about 37 or so



place on left hand side, add same DS



go back to your background in the layer palette, if youre using the same kit , c&p ele 26 , then lower the properties to 62 or whatever looks good to you then sharpen




make the top layer active  in the layer palette



new raster layer select all flood fill with the light color you used



selections contract by 2 and hit delete on your keyboard select none



add a thin gradient using your darker color all other settings default



duplicate your layer, go down to the original frame adjust blur gaussian blur at 5



go to your top layer adjust add remove noise uniform at 50% then repeat but check the random box and at 76% and merge down



get out your text tool choose a font , size 48 and stroke width 0  with foreground null type the name you want on the timeline, when happy convert to raster layer and add a thin dark gradient to it




add your copyrights, license info and your own taggers watermark. remember though Facebook

doesnt allow URL's so just the artist their site (no .com) and your license info  if you used any

elements from a kit be sure to credit the designer



merge all flatten save as jpg

if you want to just make a tag just reduce the dimensions to 600 x 250

Gradient Hero Tag Tutorial

What you will need

paint shop pro ( i am using 17 but any version will do)


a tube
i am using a new tube by Keith Garvey (Heroine)
you can purchase this and a license at



Filters

Muras Meister- copies (feedback v-random)

eye candy 4000- gradient glow (copyrights)

font- regency




ok lets begin


Open a new image transparent 600 x 250


take a light and dark color from your tube and make a gradient out of it (i used the blue in her costume)


angle 25 repeats 2 inverted not checked texture not checked
flood fill with your new gradient


effects texture effect texture choose a texture you like and click ok


get out your rectangle tool and set it on square and draw a small square place on left side of tag


get out your magic wand, click in the center of the square selecttions expand by 2 and c&p your tube selections invert hit delete on your keyboard. reduce the opacity to about 50-60 add DS
V 2 H-2 Opacity 68 Blur 7


merge down Muras Meister copies set to feedback v random
Add DS (same as before)


c&p your tube and place on right hand side resize by 61% sharpen add DS


new raster layer, select all flood fill with your lighter color selections contract by 2, select none


add a thin gradient glow and use the color you used for the frame, layers duplicate, go down to original frame, adjust blur gaussian blur at 8, back to top layer


adjust add remove noise uniform 50% monochrome checked

add noise same setting but check the random


merge down, add your copyrights, license and your own taggers watermark. merge all flatten, save as jpg. i also used a gradient glow on the copyrights and then sharpen.
