filters

muras meister- copies

eye candy 4000- gradient glow

screenworks- close knit (frame)

ok lets create!

open a new transparent image 600 x 250

selections select all

c&p paper 11 from the kit as a new layer select none

c&p your tube as a new layer, resize a bit, make it look like a close up

place on left hand side apply soft light

muras meister copies feedback (linear) default settings

duplicate and move copy to right side,merge down DS (2 -2 68 7)

get out your rectangle tool and set it on square line style solid, width 3

draw out a small square in the bottom of the left hand corner, magic wand, click inside the square,

c&p tube as new layer, selections invert delete

again use soft light for this layer,

muras meister copies, feedback H (random) at default settings

click ok. duplicate and place on right hand side merge down, soft light (or you can use a setting that you like ) this is your tag , make it your own.

same DS settings as before

now c&p your tube once again resize a bit, and place in center, DS

go to top layer

new raster layer

select all

flood fill with color of choice

i make a gradient from the lavender in her dress

flood fill, selections modify contract by 4 hit delete on keyboard, selections invert, screenworks, close knit, select none

add a thin gradient glow to the frame (same color as frame) DS 1 -1 50 5

adjust add remove noise at 50% random

add your copyrights and credits and your license. I also added a thin white gradient glow to the copyrights so it is clearer.

merge all flatten save as jpg.

My Blue Angel Forum style tag tutorial

i am using a fantastic tube by © Stan Dudin

called Redheaded Angel. you can purchase this

and his other fantastic works at PFD

you will need a license to use his work

please do not use his work without a license

filters

eye candy 4000 - gradient glow

filters unlimited- clouds

(or muras meister clouds)

screen works- close knit (frame)

masks

i am using my favorite mask

(timeline mask 5 by MB & SW)

ok lets get started

open a new image 600 x 250

choose 2 colors from your tube, i chose a light and dark blue from her shorts

flood fill with the dark color, then new raster layer and flood fill with your light color

apply your mask and merge group

c&p your tube and place on left hand side resize a bit to fit. in your layer palette, use the soft light,

move that tube below your mask layer

go to your top layer and c&p your tube again, place on right side, resize a little bit more (i resized by

70% a few times,until i got the right size)

lower the opacity on the smaller tube to about 80%

now put a DS on both tubes. i used 2 -2 68 7

go to your bottom layer, then filters unlimited , render, then foreground background clouds and click ok

get out your preset shape tool, rectangle, set on square and draw out 3 little squares anywhere on the

canvas. then use your magic wand, click in the first square, c&p as new layer

selections modify expand by 2 invert then delete select none, do that with all 3 squares, and put in

them whatever part of the tube you like. i used her eyes and earring

as you do that after each time use soft light, then the second square i used hard light, and the third i used overlay when you are happy with it, then merge them together.

now for the frame, for this i used 2 new colors for it. i took the white and grey out of her wings. new raster layer, select all , flood fill with your dark color, selections modify

contract by 4, hit delete on the keyboard, selections invert then screenworks close knit, select none.

add noise uniform at 76% monochrome checked. add a small thin gradient glow

to your frame using the same color as the frame. then a small DS. i used 1 -1 50 6

new raster layer select all flood fill with your light color, selections modify contract by 2 hit delete on keyboard, selections invert, add noise this time using the random setting

select none. add the DS, gradient glow and then merge down, when you are happy with it, then merge all flatten,save as jpg. add your copyrights, and license number and tag name.

this tutorial is meant to be a guideline . make the tag your own and be creative and have fun. i hope you enjoyed this tutorial and it was fun to do and easy to understand

mask MB and SW timeline mask 5
pick it up here

they have amazing masks over there

ok lets go

open a transparent image 600 x 250

flood fill with orange (or color from your tube)
new raster layer flood fill with black

new mask layer from image find your mask and apply merge group

c&p your tube, resize to fit, place on right

place a close up or bigger version of tube on left hand side.

change layer properties to luminance (legacy)

duplicate and change propeties to screen lower opacity to 50 or whatever looks good

(tube and copy below mask layer)

get out the rectangle pre shape tool. make sure your background is black and shut off your foreground

draw a wide rectangle down the middle of your tag, convert to raster, DS 2 -2 68 7 then repeat DS -2 2 68 7

put a fat gradient glow on your rectangle (white) width 3 all other settings at default and then a thin glow using your orange color

now take your text tool and find the destroy font. write the word boo or one of your choosing, in the black rectangle, image rotate, 90 degrees to the left(make the word as wide as you can)
and lower opacity to about 85

add a thin gradient glow using your orange color, add your copyrights and license. i rotated the copyright 90 degrees to the left and placed on right hand side of rectangle

go to your top layer, add new raster layer select all flood fill black selections modify contract by 3 hit delete on keyboard select none

add noise random @ 76% monochrome checked, then add a thin black gradient glow to the frame

merge all flatten save as jpg

for my name i used Grusskarten Gotisch at 48 stroke width 1 write your name, convert to raster,edge

effect, enhance then add a thin gradient glow using your orange color

(i used the same colors for my name, orange- foreground black- background)

i am also using eye candy 4000 - gradient glow (name and copyright)
screenworks-close knit for the frame(optional)

I am using a forum style template 059 by Spawn
you can get it here

ok lets start!

Open up your template and shift d to duplicate and close original

select main background then float defloat paste paper 4 in , invert ,push delete on keyboard once then select none

select black angled lines and repeat above steps with paper 5 select none and add noise gaussian at 30 monochrome checked

add drop shadow to layer 2 -2 50 5 or DS of your choice

select grey angled lines and repeat above steps with paper 5

select grey foreground and copy and paste paper 15 into layer, selections invert, hit delete on keyboard, select none

add your tube either side, which ever looks good to you

i resized my tube by 40% then 2 x by 70% (its a big tube)

i placed mine on the left hand side, add DS (same settings as before)

resize tree 2 by 70% and place on right hand side

place butterfly scatter on right hand side on top of tree and resize 1 x by 70%

place 2pumpkins element on right hand side and resize by 70% 4 times

Add DS to pumpkins

add branch resize by 40% and place behind the pumpkins. i rotated mine 20 degrees to the right

place dandelions behind branch and resize by 60% and rotate 20% to right

leaf 2 resize by 40% and place in front of pumpkins

take a light color from the tag and then select your border, float defloat, flood fill the border with your chosen color.

add any elements you would like. i added the sparkle and resized by 60% and place behind my tube.
i did use screenworks close knit for my frame and gradient glow for name and the copyrights,and a small glow on the border

merge all flatten, (when you have everything where you want) add your copyrights, name.

all done!
